The Richards Hall classrooms need to be renovated. The seats are uncomfortable especially for classes that last 1 hour and 40 minutes.
Set up color printing stations around campus, where students can send their color prints to be printed (same as the black and white one we currently have, but in color). Pages could be 20 cents each to off set cost
No one should have to face the terrible lines at the quick print stations in the library during lunch. It would be great to have quick print stations located in most, if not all buildings.
Put TVs in useful places at Marino like the weight room or around the treadmills that actually show ESPN or anything entertaining at all. The only TVs in the workout areas are either showing intramural champions(nobody cares) and proper gym clothing/policies.

It would be extremely helpful if there was a compost collection bin in the trash rooms in addition to the recycling and trash areas. So much kitchen waste can be salvaged!
Just in general I think more resources should be devoted to making NU more affordable rather than silly aesthetics projects. Do we really need expensive TVs just to display pictures of students or worse, pictures of random crap? (I'm looking at you, INV).
There need to be helmets readily available for people to use at free skates at Matthews. I had to get transported to the hospital yesterday, which would not have happened had I been wearing a helmet. They have a lot of helmets for broomball, so why not let us use them for free skate? I feel uncomfortable going back to free skate without a helmet.
Other schools allow students to download actual versions of SPSS, Microsoft Office, MATLAB, etc... in normal application format. The MyAPPS virtual desktop client is inconvenient for students for many reasons. Many times the connection is slow and buggy. We also shouldn't have to be tied to an internet connection in order to get work done. If other schools can give their students direct access to the programs to download ...more »
